It's actually sluice (they've translated both as "шлюз" since we don't have that distinct terms). I believe it's fixed by now

After coming back from a save, the Sluthes were set to 1.00. Took me a bit to figure out what was going on.

My computer went to sleep while the game was running. (sleep, not hibernate).

After a savegame loading (actually happened after sometime, initial saves worked well) all sluce config "close above donwstream" reset to maximum.
Other 2 settings stay at savetime configuration
Happen either with autosave and normal save

Same for me, but doesn't reset all the set of sluice gate. Just 3 set of 5 set that i have, have been reset to maximum height after loading back the save.
I have done a quick test by planting 3 new set of sluice gate. As soon as there is more than one sluice gate together, when you load your save, it's reset the group of sluice gate to the max height. The one that is standalone on the picture has keep is value of 1.5 for closing.

Yes, for me as well since yesterday's update when opening through choosing "continue" on the main menu all sluice gates have been reset to open above (whatever the unit's max is).

I had this problem every time i load my save file with the new colony after changing to the experimental branch for the new stuff. the sluices dont remember their setup after loading the save file. i have to set them up each time i start the game.

When I save my game, all of the sluices are set to let water through when the downstream level is 0.85. When I load the save, all of the sluices have reset to letting water through when the downstream level is 1.

I started this save in the experimental branch about 3 or 4 weeks ago, prior to sluices being implemented, if that helps.

1. After Saving and reloading into my save the sluice resets its depth setting to 2.00

2. I got robots for all jobs but the counter still says 3 working beavers.

With The Current Build (v0.6.2.0-facfbbc-xsw) i experience the proplem that the Downstream Depth Setting of Sluises is either not saved in the savegame or not correctly loaded.
Everytime i load the game the slider of the Setting ist set to the max value. It still has the correct Value for the Checkbox (if the setting is active or not) but the Value for the slider is allways at the max value after i load the game.
I started the game with an earlier Version of the experimental build, but i saved and loaded it with version (v0.6.2.0-facfbbc-xsw).

When I save and reload a game it seems the sluices don't save the value of the downstream level option.
It is save where the option is active or not, but on every reload the value will be reset to 1.00

All other options seem to be saved fine.

i had the same issue, even after i reinstalled the game via steam.
but i only experienced it, when more than 3 sluices are connected to eachother.
my smaller games seems to be normal.

When I load a game I saved the day before, the sluices are always reset to closing above a downstream depth of 1.00, although I set a lower value which typically leads to immediate flooding.

I have the same issue in my game, rather annoying.
As a workaround, i tried to un-sync adjacent sluices since Loic Sodoyer noticed that a single sluice doesn't reset and for me it worked. My 4 adjacent but un-synced sluices keep their height setting after reloading the game. Might be worth trying for those having similar issues.

Same. It is going back to whatever depth matches the top of the sluice. So if you have it set to open when downstream is above 1.6, but top of sluice is at 2, it will never close when you resume...

Same issue after loading a save. Single sluices are fine even if they have a sluice under them. Sluices side by side get set to max "Close above downstream depth". "Close above contamination level" stays the same even if modified.

From my testing:

After reloading a saved game, all sluices in groups of more than one, with the setting "Synchronise with adjacent sluices" = True, reset so that their setting for "Close above downstream depth: n" is set to their maximum possible depth.

Sluices that are on their own, or are in groups with their settings "Synchronise with adjacent sluices" = False, are not affected.

Reloading save on Mac version v0.6.2.0-facfbbc-xsm also causes adjacent, synchronized sluices to reset to max value.

So it looks like it only happens with synced up sluices. If a sluice is sitting on its own, it doesn't mess with the height setting. Add a second sluice next to it however and the settings get messed up on load.

Same here, on Windows 11 using v0.6.2.0-facbbc-xsw via Steam.

My experience is exactly as Richard H. described 2 comments up and I have a large, late-game save with lots and lots of sluices which are all affected on save reload (except for 1 sluice which is not adjacent to any other), happy to share if it helps.

The last few times I have re-loaded my save it has rounded my sluices to whole numbers or maybe just maxed them out. I had them set to 1.85, 3.85 and 1.85 but when loading they are set to 2, 4, and 2.

In my case only happens when Sluice downstrean is lower (Waterfall). When sluice is in the same level the sluice's configuration is correctly saved in my game.

I have 4 adjacent sluice gates that are about 12 levels above the next ground block. Whenever I load up the save the downstream depth control seems to reset (e.g. I save the game with it set to 1.9, but when I load the game it has been reset to 12).

Sluices don't save their downstream height when leaving the save, this is a recent bug from the latest patch, and its very infuriating.
I have to manually change the height of the downstream height every time I log on to the save... it defeats the purpose of automatically when every time you log on, you have to reset the height, making it tedious when you have several bits of sluices.
