Tutorial is worthless
Absolutely no description as to what units are, what they do, how to build things, how to assign workers, etc. It just says "Plant two lumberjack flags" and then all the beavers go 'stranded". What does that mean? Is stranded a bad thing? What do I do? Nothing says.
A tutorial means that things are explained. Basic strategy is explained. How to PLAY THE GAME is explained. Start with identifying the units, then expand to the buildings, and then expand to how to read the user interface and what all the hundreds of buttons and options mean. A basic strategy guide would also be helpful.

I saw a little bit of gameplay before I bought the game so I didn't struggle during the tutorial, but even for me who understood the basic game there was some confusion. For instance, the beavers ignored berries to eat carrots but I didn't know that so while watching food fluctuations I was confused. Adding a note in the tutorial that beavers prefer variety of food except berries, and that each unit of food is equally filling would have been very helpful to me since that is one of the few points I had to look up online. -

Gin Fuyou AdminSorry, I can't agree on this one, as having played through tutorial numerous times by now, and regularly pestering devs about elaborating a few points that are not obvious to players new to genre. Tutorial misses some points about specific placements and connections, but that's not something you can't figure out without a quick trial and error method. (still should be explained, that should be in works) But it gives game basics pretty well.
It's not that easy to get beavers stranded in early game, how you did that? Perhaps there was a glitch, I'd like to see some screenshots. -

DexterI completely agree with Gary. I've tried to play this game twice now and can't even get two Lumberjack Flags built.
Quit out of frustration both times. -

Jcheungthis game is in early access... it doesn't make sense to do a fully fleshed out tutorial when a third of the mechanics will change in a few months.
as for you folks with the lumberjack flags, place two on the dirt and connect them with paths to the district center? i'm pretty sure the tutorial is pretty clear about this as well.
