Automation: Rename Off/On to Signal Active/Inactive or Signal Enabled/Disabled or Signal True/False
Request to rename Off/On labels to something more descriptive, such as Signal Active/Inactive, Signal Enabled/Disabled, or Signal True/False, particularly on items like valves.
While this is technically just a label, every time I see “Off” it takes my brain a few extra seconds to process. My first interpretation is “the valve is off”, which isn’t actually what the signal represents. It’s a boolean signal state, not the physical device state.
This might just be my perspective, but I think the labels could be clearer and reduce potential confusion. Valves are just one example, but the same issue appears in other places throughout the system.
