Basic mining mechanic for all beaver races
While iron would still come primarily or completely from salvage, stones could be a useful 2nd tier material for dams, levees, buildings, and decorations. These tier 2 structures could be more resilient and cheaper than wooden structures. a new stone tile like the previously recommended bog, or clay tiles could add more diversity and exploration of mountains. however stone tiles while more common than scrap would also not be renewable and thus would have to be used sparingly for high demand locations

Spvers MergedThe ability to make a metal mine building. Building is pretty large (6x8 or more) and needs dynamite and more then 5 bevers to operate. They also have the danger of dying when the building is in use.

barytron Mergedmake it so we can research mines they would probobly have to be a late game thing they would allow you to mine for scrap metal but not very fast this is just incase you already gathered all the metal on your map you would still be able to get more seeing ass when u delete things the items disappear

Tetkin1 MergedI think there should be a mine like building that would generate more scrap, it would be made with metal blocks because, if not than it would be a early game source of infinite metal.

Brandan MergedMetal feels too scarce. The zero refund on demolition feels too punishing for misplacement of buildings that use metal. Metal platforms are also way to expensive to ever seem practical. I would like to see mines for the Iron Teeth. I think the folktails are currently the superior choice, and the iron teeth don't feel like the masters of metal they should.

morfetico MergedWould be two buildings one smaller for to mine stone and coal, and a bigger one to mine metal, both would need to be built in the wall, where the beaver could go to work and collect different resources for different times
The stone would be used to building on builds that make sense having it or in decoration like statues and fences, and stone could be found on the surface as boulders and rocks
The coal could be a alternative to wood as burning material on furnaces and on the motor, maybe being a irontooth exclusive
And iron as the title say cold be renewable making the end game player use a lot more iron plataforms on their worlds -
