Add on-screen warning when layer visibility is active (building disappear, platform top invisble)

Many players find it confusing (specifically since you can activate it by mistake with alt+wheel) and with shadows still visible it looks a lot like a bug. Mock-up attached.
Probably with option to disable it.

Also generally tool needs better indication of it's existence.

saved and closed the game, and when I loaded back in, all rooftop and platform buildings were bugged. A rooftop terrace is gone, but still casts a shadow where it used to be, and a simple platform only has it's supports (no actual platform) and can't be walked on by my beavers I tried rebuilding the platform in the same place and in other places, and it still does the same. So I'm guessing any 2nd story building is going to be a bit more difficult this game.

EDIT: I'm a moron. apparently there's a layers feature in the upper-right that I somehow activated.

There is a layers feature, but I've also had this happen suddenly when loading a game, or just randomly while playing. I did not activate the layers feature accidentally, and reloading the game fixed it, so there is some sort of bug here. Maybe the problem is that the layers feature is sometimes being activated when it shouldn't be.

There are shadows of buildings I had placed to be built. They were eventually built but I couldn't interact with them cancel the build or change the priority of the build. I placed the build before the levees under them were completed as a note.

Zapkat, ofc it's not supposed to be visible even when it's built, it's the purpose of the tool. Just press the red button to restore it to unlimited (default) view.

After I have played for more than 15 days in the game, now sometimes some buildings are not visualized any more. It looks like their space is empty! In the image e.g. a case of a technically still working energy connection. If I wait for some time, eventually it might visualize though!

I have some buildings that have stopped consistently rendering but the shadows still show up. If a beaver enters the area where the buildings arent showing up, the beaver also disappears. It wont let me attach more than one pic, but i have at least 2 locations in my town with this issue (it JUST started happening)

when I build a platform more then 3 tier( adding another level of platform), the platform are not visible and I can not add path on top of it. Before the latest update the platform function ok.

I saved a game (did something stupid and killed all my beavers) and tried to reload a previous autosave. When I did, some buildings went invisible.

I can see the beaver sitting here (at the Distribution Post) but the building itself is not rendered unless I select it by clicking the beaver and selecting the workplace.

I mean I THINK this is due to the loading of the autosave but I haven't been able to reproduce it 100% of the time.

so i went to build a platform so i could make a 2 tall staircase but the platform was just 4 wooden posts without the platform part. it was like this before it was built and stayed this way after it was built and i couldnt put a staircase on it either. i tried deleting it and building it again and it stayed the same. i also tried placing another platform in a different area and it worked fine. and it had the same problem with different sizes of platforms. this is my 3rd district in this world and i only just started building there. i also think there was a berry bush that i demolished in the same spot before building. i took more screenshots but it only lets me post one. im also able to place a path underneath the platform so i think the game thinks there isnt a platform there at all?

In mid game, I've started to see that platforms when built only build the legs and not the top anymore. Means I can't use them properly or run paths across the top of them. Seemed to be fine early game and now seem to all have this missing. Tried few different places.

My distribution post has become invincible. It is actually possible to select it if you look for your building in your tab with all the buildings. But you can't select it on the map. In the picture you can see a shadow, but sometimes, it also doesn't show the shadow. You can't place other buildings there because it's only invincible, not gone.
