Drought Bell (Building) - dry season and badtide alarm structure
Suggestion to allow a new building called the "Drought Bell" Which will be operated by 1 Beaver.
This will alert the district when a drought is active.
Once this building is built you could add an option to all buildings to automatically pause/unpause during a drought.

it has potential to work for the "automation of the floodgates as well. when drought starts, the bell causes the gates to close -

AntonGreat idea! I love it. Though "one beaver to operate" is too musch. The poor beaver will be sitting on his tail practically all the time.
Maybe one of the beavers working in the district-center could ring the bell? -
