Carrot/berry juicer
I'd like to suggest a building that could get berry or carrot juice from crushing carrots/berries, as an alternative way to satisfy thirst. Could be useful if you've got stored food but run out of water. Also, I'd like to suggest a mini map feature that you could click on to see the layout of the whole map. Thanks! Love this game!

CamasiaBerry juice recipe should either
A) require berry + water to produce 1 juice, or
B) Require 2 berries to produce 1 juice.
I think juice should still require water, since it would satisfy thirst.
Since we already have 5 food sources to satisfy different needs. For balancing, juice should only fulfill thirst, not hunger, and contribute nutrition perks. This also prevents OP late-game items, getting max happiness should always remain a challenge.
1 berry + 1 water = hunger + thirst
1 berry juice = thirst + nutrition IV
So you lose on hunger, needs processing (beaver + power), fulfills the same thirst, but allows for a Nutrition perk/happiness. -

CamasiaAlso, making a juicer to convert berries into juice is easy, though it has to justify the addition of a new building. I'd expect the juicery to require energy for crushing and mixing. And a food filling thirst should be an easy enough add to the game. However the main challenge is storage. Juice probably can't be stored in a warehouse. (and for those of you saying why not. A large water tank holds 300L, if juice fulfills the thirst need, but was stored in warehouses, then you could store 4000 in underground warehouses, which required the same footprint as a large watertank. Which is not a good game mechanic, since juice would get gamed for larger/compact thirst storage).
I suppose water tanks could default to water-only, and have an option to convert to juice only (but it has to be empty to switch). But I don't know how this could work.
If Ironteeth ever have larger/upgraded breeding pods, they could require juice instead of just berries to increase processing work required. -

AIt is weird there are so many food types but the beavers only drink water.
Brewing ale would make a lot of sense.
A brewery building that does something like 10 Wheat + 1 maple +1 Water = 25 Ale
Carrot or berry juice should be inefficient like 2 carrots plus 1 water = 3 juice -

the beaver named Piemel Mergedinstead of letting beavers only drink water they could drink other stuf like fruit juice or lemonade. just like hunger has nutrition you could add something like that for thirst

Jinneed more uses for the berries for folktales after other foods are available, use in medicine was a good start (ex 5) but should also be used as food ingredient or as a drink (not necessary replacement for water as this line suggests) like wine

Geoff MergedAllow consumption of berries to decrease thirst levels at a lower rate than water plus all other liquid consumables should affect thirst one way or another such as coffee dehydrates the body but antidotes allow for better retention.

LoyalPeanutbuterJuicemaker. Converts carrots, berries and other important food sources into Juice at a steep price which trenches thirst, for desperate times. Juice cannot be used to water crops.
