Solid decorative 1x1 placeholder block with selectable texture
You can see a lot of cases where platforms or levees are used not functionally but as a support for building stacking. Platforms are not always a best choice aesthetically, when you don't really need a path under it.
Levee has it's own specific texture that usually doesn't harmonize with buildings and is ruffly when placed along in large quantity. And ofc levee can't be stacked on any other structure due to mechanics limitation.
Suggestion:
- Add a special decorative-only dummy cube block, technically a dysfunctional levee that can be placed anywhere like a platform to fill in gaps in stacked complexes or serve as pedestal.
- In it's UI allow to choose freely any of Factions common textures so it can mix with any building. - Optionally a toggle to make texture seamless ("merge" with adjacent blocks)
- Price should be no lower than a platform, probably higher so it's only useful for creativity.

Zam!I fully support the idea. Also, I. Would split it into just a plain "wall block" and "decorative wall" that could have some decor/painting/something on it and add to happiness of the colony at a higher cost that just a "filler wall block".

PandaIf it worked as a warehouse, you'd need to connect a path to it, and that defeats the purpose of the filler block idea. If you don't connect it, you constantly deal with warnings and/or pause signs.

Benderx85I would love some decorative blocks to help with building. Platforms are useful, But when you get to later in the game they don't look good everywhere!

artzfreak MergedSome kind of bonus-less decoration that is a solid block with the same appearance as the housing. Just so that aesthetically you can create cooler looking housing arrangements. Would be especially helpful for equalizing the height of housing units to then add roofs. The platforms currently serve this function, but they don't look great.

ThymeSpirit MergedAdd wall blocks for building big structures and decoration. Levees are functional, but boring. These walls don't have to block water, but should be solid. Maybe they could be painted in different colors and patterns, or even allow custom patterns. There could also be a well-being bonus for them.

Chris MergedAt the moment the cheapest solid 1*1 block is the smallest warehouse, so if i need to fill a space in order to build something on top (e.g. stairs) its the best choice. But if flooded or not connected by paths it gives warnings. A different block of the same cost that just lets you fill in a space would be nice. Or an option to disable warnings for a single building.
