Conveyor Belts for Goods, automated resource delivery between buildings.
I feel that expanding and transporting things over distances in Timberborn can be a bit of a pain. I think a conveyor belt similar to those found in Factory Town would be a great addition. It would also look very satisfying. It would also be important to be able to suspend the conveyors without the need for platforms, even for only 5 or 6 tiles. Conveyor belts were mentioned in another post but barely. I'd love if this was a thing.

As a later game feature, add automatic production chain features. Buildings in a chain can be connected by something similar to power shafts but be the fast travel feature of the faction (mini tubes for IronTeeth & mini baskets on a zipline for Folktails). A beaver harvests wheat and takes it to the warehouse. The auto-connection takes it to the gristmill to be made into flour then it's zoomed on over to the bakery and finally the bread warehouse all withOUT haulers having to come and take it from building to building.
In a perfect world it would be take from the warehouse to a cafe or mess hall. ;) But that's another suggestion. -

darkAcoFully agree, it would be fun. I would like those to be able to move things between districts. There could even be automatic loading/unloading stations which could need relatively big amounts of power and obviously be built out of metal. Either for haulers to pickup or connectable to warehouses (or both).

JordanThis could be an interesting aspect to add, perhaps to a certain faction or overall. Either way, I've always liked automation in games.

Aleigha MergedI was thinking about the automation aspect for this game. What if there were conveyor belts or have chutes to have the materials sent to buildings and warehouse.

WhiteRooNow that districts can be far bigger, this would be really useful to have as an option.

Tweek Del Taw MergedI thought of something a bit like "electrical networks".
but this time I'm talking about the treadmill.
Example: normally, to make boards, the beavers must fetch logs from the stock and bring them back to the sawmill, then from the sawmill to the cabinetmaker to make treated boards.
what if it was possible to build a network to facilitate this transport?
Each treadmill section would cost energy. (a little nothing!)
this is how it would work, we could start the carpet, starting for example, from the stock of wood... this carpet would go through a sawmill, then from the sawmill, once transformed into boards, it would go to the cabinetmaker to become a treated board... and perhaps even, towards a stock, of treated boards, in the end!
(just like the joints between energy plants and factories... I no longer have the term..)
This would allow our dear beavers to remain at their workstation, without systematically searching for resources, they would be automatically transfer -

BD Mergedit would be nice to see a different way of transporting materials i.e., some more early game carts built at a cart works or later game conveyor belts ((powered) Iron teeth only)/chutes (((unpowered)only downhill)folktales) or something like that. this way we could get some more transport at a cost. A cost, that just may be worth it.

RichardYes, absolutely. I would love to see Factorio style conveyor belts taking products all over the map. That would be cool.
