No More Deleting Structures [NEW BUILDING] Demolition Yard
This suggestion either works with or replaces the Scrapper Flag entirely
So much beaver labor vanished in the air, and a little more beaver labor could make it all worth it
3x3 building (2x3 Solid)
Cost : 30 logs 10 planks 10 gears
Up to six workers
Can store 100 dynamite and 100 planks/gears/scrap
Demolition Crew tears apart designated existing structures/resources for recycling and are REQUIRED to use dynamite at any time in the colony and are RESTRICTED to builder range
Demolition returns:
Half the standard harvest from trees or berries
All scrap from ruins returned
Recyling returns:
Half the logs required to build are returned
A quarter of the planks and gears
Half the metal blocks are returned as scrap

RedbeardWhoI'd say this is different from that "deconstruction suggestion" :
It completely changes the nature of the scavenger flag, which could be available full-time, and ONLY be able to scrap metal if the Demolition Yard exists
Ruins could be demolished with EXPLOSIVES to get half the total structure's value in scrap in one go
The Demolition Crew is an integral part of any construction force, and the beavers would of course take it to absurd extremes for maximum cuteness and fun -

Rolf J-HB MergedEspecially for beginners it happens quite often, that you build a new facility, but only after it is completed you get the information that it does not work (e.g. for the swimming pool the water is not deep enough, for the aquatic farm you have to put it not into not too deep water, etc.). Then you have to destroy the building, and start the construction again, without getting anything back from the building already completed (e.g. material). This is quite annoying, since you invest a lot of time and material.
My suggestion: Implement a new building with the capability to recycle demolished materials, by separating it into the original raw materials.
This would fit quite well to the spirit of the game. -

Disassembling a structure requires the work of a beaver and yields half of recourses used in its construction. -

paco antonio MergedWhen you click destroy a structure it is automatically deleted even if it is in pause mode, I think it would be better if the beavers had to go to the building to destroy it and thus give time in case you realize that you don't want to destroy it or for any reason another reason.
