Alert / Notification suppression checkboxes in each building's menu, disable warnings icons
This suggestion builds on this:
https://timberborn.featureupvote.com/suggestions/220904/disable-specific-alerts-for-specific-buildings
...and proposes an implementation. I propose two checkboxes in each building's menu (which could obviously be rephrased):
[X] Suppress alerts above this building. When checked, this would hide all circle icons above the building like No Power, Flooded, and Storage Full. It could even hide Paused if you want.
[X] Suppress alerts above activity log [bottom left]. This would disable No Power, Flooded, Building Lacks Workers, Nothing to Do in Range, etc.
I think this would provide a lot of control without overloading the player with options. It would also make a lot of alert-related suggestions here more attractive. Some buildings could also come with one or both boxes pre-checked.

A small QOL suggestion! Perhaps we can toggle per building whether a structure reports that no workers are available? It'd be nice to have an overflow builder's hut without getting error messages when the pop decreases a bit. -

Kevin MergedIf we could turn off alerts, per alert type per building, would help save alerts for important things, for example:
* You could ignore "Construction lacks materials" for something that you want to build as soon as possible but isn't necessary.
* You could ignore "Flooded building" for a water pump or water dump that is sometimes underwater.
* You could ignore "Building lacks workers" for low-priority buildings like inventors, as the population fluctuates.
This could also enable adding optional alerts for more things — for example, a lumberjack flag could alert when there are no trees to cut (not just when there are no marked squares), for temporary posts. -

Nico MergedThere are alerts about missing resources and other things at the bottom left and it overlaps my list of jobs and unemployed.
We should be able to remove those alerts or tick a box to mute them for some time. -

Xen MergedYeah ignoring "Flooded building" for water pump is a must in folktail race. You have to build every 2 level some water pumps if you want to survive hard.

Atrak MergedIgnoring power loss for specific buildings is also needed for Folktails. Windmills are not consistent.

AlcatorSKAnother option / alternative for this would be to give us "Smart" checkboxes.
These would be LOCKED BEHIND SCIENCE POINTS, so that new players wouldn't see these options (kinda like Golem stuff is locked behind Making the first golem).
These checkboxes could be stuff like:
[x] Don't report flooding of this building (or "Flooding expected - ignore FLOOD alert")
[x] Don't report full (or "Expected to fill frequently - ignore FULL alert")
[x] Don't report lack of power (or "Sporadic power supply expected - ignore POWER alert")
etc. Basically, having the option to disable specific alerts on specific buildings without losing ALL alerts for it. -

Caramia MergedSome way to turn off alerts, especially when buildings are full. I want full water storage before the dry season. But those alerts make me anxious and make it easy to miss the alerts I need to see like missing materials and disconnected buildings. For people with anxiety

Dhossan MergedGlad to see I'm not the only one, it's a minor thing but yeah I'd like to either remove certain messages, or hide them, or flag them as acknowledged to visually make a difference from new messages {like red = new, green = acknowledged, yellow= recurring}. Also would be nice if we could expand/close the window. or have an option to make the window fade if the mouse isn't over it, could use that for the messages under it to. Show the window when a new message/alert appears, then a button or something to have it fade out.

kvagramIn my current colony, I have backup lidos and backup pumps for long droughts.
Those are under water in the wet season, and thus get the flooded warning.
In this screenshot you see this example with the lidos.
The lowest one is flooded, the middle one is at perfect height (for now), and the top one is dry.
That flooded building warning is irritating. And that counter will increase by two once the new backup pumps are constructed.
I wholeheartedly agree with the need to disable warnings for some buildings. -

Modhunter42 MergedA Checkbox toggle for ALL buildings that completely disables it. Not just pause-able buildings.
- No beavers will attempt to empty/fill/work in building.
- The building will not post ANY kind of notice (flooded, paused, not connected, etc) either overhead pop-ups or notices on the left.
Might even provide a slight boost by using less system resources. -

ullrik MergedGive buildings an option to enable/disable warnings such as "no power" to enable users only seeing relevant warnings at the bottom left corner.
Example: I have several remove wind powered pumps giving me warnings every time there is no wind. I would like to disable the warnings for such buildings and keep the ones where constant power supply is relevant. There might also be additional use cases. -

Rotemgo_23 Mergedwhen you place a building and it isnt connected to a path or flooded or if its a storage and it doesnt have something picked it would be really cool if when you click on the building next each icon there is an ok button or i understand button or something like that that after pressed it gets rid of the icon. note: i do remember seeing something about the icons i dont remember what so if you cn disable it or something im sorry for wasting your time.

Matt MergedAllow a toggle for each building to be able to disable floating icons if desired. I may have reason to have buildings with issues I do not intend to fix. This would allow me to not have to be bothered by icons I don't care to see.

Johann MergedI would like to have the option to shut off warnings for this building when I click it.
For example, I have a BBQin place that will occasionally run out of potatoes. I will not react to this, but as long as this BBQ doesn't have potatoes the warning will be annoying. -

Anette MergedI really dont want to see the big pause icon on buildings, and with automation well I see it more.
Only way I found to see it is to get ALL info of the screen and fly blind.
Does any of you know a mod or setting that make it so just info icons over buildings (its ok if it is all) get hidden but I keep the top info panel about stored items and beavers. -
