Decorative walls for platforms (between pillars), vertical panels, cladding, expanded banners
You can add a decorative under-platform walls that can be placed between the pillars at any height (see the image), and rework how the current fences are working in the game: instead of taking whole square of land fence being placed on the side of the square and allows road to be placed on the same square. Both platform walls and fences can be built in all 4 sides of the square in the same time. Same as fences - platform walls can be of different material and faction-specific.
P.S.- Maybe wall can be built away from platform as well, simply with it's own pillars of the same look.

RyvreParkitect has a nice complex building system if developers want something to aim for, although I guess doing much along those lines might be better left for Timberborn 2. I don't care about fences but any new decorative options would be great.

Raoul Duke MergedA decoration item that is a 1x1 wall panel. You should be able to put these on the sides of platforms, or between two buildings, to make them look more aesthetically pleasing and to hide internals like power shafts and gears.
