Battery energy - show capacity capacity, stored power in hp/h and estimate running time for sensor
When you select a powered building, it tends to show the current network power, and the max demand. I think it would be nice if power storage and ETA for charge/discharge were added as well.
If draining, it says remaining. If charging, it says charging. Or perhaps you can use colors, green for charge, red for drain. Light colors though.

I find myself wishing there was a way to see how much total horse power is stored in my power systems and also the hours remaining before I run out of power. Right now I am forced to manually add up my gravity batteries and divide by the power draw.
It feels like there could be more detailed information provided so that players would know how long they can last a drought state with their stored power. -

DerekIt would be great to know the power a gravity battery is supplying to the network. This would make it easier to determine how many batteries are needed to maintain the network.

NightAngel MergedAdd battery data to power network
Each of the gravity batteries displays it's current accumulated power. However, the power network, accessed by clicking on any power production building or power conveyance connected to the network in question, does not show how much battery is available or how long said battery will last. -

NeoblasterSuggestion base on existing UI Display :
- First capacity bar : displaying the current battery capacity (Current Capacity / Maximum Capacity)
- Second Capacity : displaying the network battery capacity (Current Network Capacity / Maximum Network Capacity)
I suppose in script, the global network capacity is already summed, so It simply consist to add a extra capacity bar ?
It will need to introduce "Kilo, Mega, Giga, Tera etc" units.
Hope it will be done !

nogmuh MergedI think energy is a very important resource, and storage is part of that.
Therefore, it would be really nice if the display system also showed the storage.
I would like to see all buildings have an energy storage display as a third option in addition to the generation/consumption display. This would greatly simplify energy planning.
Example: Generation/Storage/Consumption.
Disadvantage: This could negatively impact the display and obscure large storage units. Then you could display the storage value with prefixes. ;)
Alternatively: an energy or energy storage display next to the resource display above would be very helpful.
Your game is really great, thank you 👍 -

Fizzle MergedTitle.
I got 2 gravity batteries RN. Curiously, I clicked my sensor (attached to the network), but it only showed the consumption/production.
Nothing about the stored energy.
Storage is not as easy as counting the batteries - depending on height, it varies. Depending on the charge, it varies.
Sensors should include that. ty -

Fizzle Merged"already exists" < I disagree.
The % exists, yes, but NOT the ACTUAL NUMBER of stored energy.
That may exists in code but we cannot see it! We ONLY see the INGOING and OUTGOING charge.
10% of 5000 is not the same as 10% of 157.124 potential energy (stored).
Saying a Network has "10%" of an unknown variable - is useless.
Especially since batteries can store 2.000~16.000+ energy per, depending on where they are placed.
Please, @Jcheung, tell me how much this network stores.
I clicked on an attached energy measurement unit (as you did).
IF you guess right, I will gift 2 more copies of the game to random players in the steam forums.
Deal? :) -
