Faction Idea: Atlanteans
They are beavers that get adapted to live in the deep water.
- Their buildings keep functioning regardless it is flooded or not. (except anything that "burns" something)
- They get to swim faster.
- They get a bigger bonus from wet fur.
- They get a bigger bonus from aquatic crops.
- They can generate energy from Ocean currents if the water is deep enough.
- They can have a levee waterlock gate, which blocks water but allows beavers to pass, so they can build a big dam to live inside of it while allowing access outside to get their resources.
- They can have a lot of interesting unique buildings in the Atlantis theme.
Seem to be simple. unique, and gives a lot o space for creativity,

SolarCola MergedA beaver faction that is more closely connected to water than other factions. Houses need to be built in the water, and the building style is Atlantis inspired. Has a two unique buildings. First, the open pump, which can pump water directly into an irrigation canal or another hole. Second, the swimming pool, which replaces the carousel. Thirdly, the kelp farm, which is an underwater building that provides food replacing bread, although it does still need to be cooked.

What is "Atlantis inspired" style anyway? Ancient Greek?
Specifics were suggested separately, i think concept has to be more detailed to be added separate from existing ones that base on same main idea. -

SolarCola MergedOh yeah I really should've checked more carefully before posting this and the other suggestion, I hadn't seen that one. I would say this implementation might be a little bit simpler to add to the game, but otherwise is it too much alike. Sorry! You can delete this one and the other one I posted :) I just really hope to see more factions, because for me it's the faction that add replayability to the game!
Also, Atlantis inspired was indeed ancient Greek in my head, but perhaps a sailors theme would be better. Maybe the district centre can look like a lighthouse? -

It's not bad Ideas at all, but we have over 1000 suggestions at the moment, I fear they'll just get lost. Devs confirmed they'll be taking into consideration number of votes on suggestion, so comment to popular one is more likely to be read through. -

DrulnirGot some Ideas to promote undewater beawers...
-remove all houses but the basic one and add Houses to be build underwater (only giving Protection when flooded)
-add algea farm as alternative to carrots and co (maybe give malus to basic farms).
-Houses block water (adds an ability to build citys to block off water like Dams).
-Underwater basic research replacement.
-Water production
-swimming platforms to use the water surfaces.
-Pipes instead of roads to navigate between buildings when Under water
...
Just some basic Ideas :)
