Improve Tree and Crop Growth Visualization - plant maturity overview or heatmap
Now the growth visualization system is binary mode (in graphic only "growing" and "ripe"). When you want to inspect an area of field, you need to click the crops/trees one by one to see the percentage of growth. Instead, we can make the visualization better to show different degrees of growth. Or even we can have an icon showing the heatmap of plant growth. (I major in computer science and now I am a programmer. I strongly suggest this improvement.)

@SirMichael a % of done wouldn't tell you when exactly things are coming.
I think we've expressed related but different needs. I find our ideas complementary. -

Foucauld Degeorges MergedI recently got a few starvation deaths because my crop were all similarly aged, meaning there were a few days without any food harvesting.
While I'm aware of the risk now, I wish there was a way to find out what "gaps" there are in my food production.
Currently the only way to view a crop (or tree)'s maturity is to click individual crops.
I'm thinking of a diagram view, like the amount of crop by maturity.
See the example schema and data:

Christian MergedYes! It's tedious to check on a field of crops/trees/bushes by having to click them all...
Instead of a graph I would suggest just overlaying a semi transparent tile grid with color gradient from red (0%) to green (100%). This way we could see all the info from the graph plus WHICH crops/trees/bushes are at what growth status... -

SirMichael Admin Mergedinteresting idea. Having them all share 1 graph may be misleading as they all have different growth times. Perhaps a percent of done, and extend it to the dry season for percent of wilt/dry out.

FuryoftheStars MergedWell, they all have different days to grow, so it should be expected that at some point all can overlap. Which is why you should always shoot for excess, not just what’s needed until the next harvest.

Lauren MergedJust like how you can see how much of each resource is in storage by pressing "X" - it would be great to see either how many days or how far along in % trees are in growth. It's a lot of precision clicking to check on tree progress otherwise!
