Font size and contrast settings - readability options when text is too small (tiny letters)

Can we have some options on the UI please? I have a minor eyesight issue so to be able to read any of the text in the UI I've got it scaled up as far as it goes - a colour option with stronger contrast would be really helpful. Then with the UI scaled up as far as it goes, the stack of info boxes rising from the middle of the bottom of the screen covers so much of the screen that I actually can't look directly down when I'm placing something in a complex structure. I really need all those boxes optimised and moved off to the side out of the way.
Also, when I scale up a UI to be able to read the text at the top of the screen, that doesn't mean I need all the big icon menu buttons at the bottom of the screen made even bigger. (...) If I could make the text at the top twice as big and the buttons at the bottom half as big, I'd have a more usable interface

Absolutely love the UI scaling feature, however, even on max UI scale the text is a bit small.

please!! i play this on a TV, fairly large screen from a distance as my eyes are sensitive to light, however even playing this wonderful game on a 55" TV the text is like 8 pt font??? please include a text pt bump in options/settings, also... aqua farming..... sigh... i've almost given up as i cant for the life of me figure out what is the best water level to plant it or if the farmhouse needs to be in water ???? i've got almost 60 hrs in the game and i just cant figure it out sorry.

I suggest the information popup is dismissed as soon as the object is activated for placement. While it doesn't solve the tiny text problem, it would really help us navigate building placement. The game is playable as is, but I feel I am always building in the periphery instead of in the center, and constantly jockeying my camera tilt, zoom and direction --very annoying-- and it is difficult to see how the building relates to everything around it.
Great game, and thanks for the scaling option. So many good games unplayable because all devs seem to have 20/20. and sit 2 inches from their monitors. I agree that text is the issue, not graphical elements of the UI. The problem with the scaling option is it requires a system change, so I either have to adapt to a global change that affects all programs, or I have to set and reset the system scaling every time I play --tedious.-- and it still doesn't make the text easily readable! Well, and it's ugly and elements overlap.
