  With the addition of tunnels (yay!), they are easy to build with a path going into the entrance, but not via a tubeway. This is due to not being able to mark the yet-to-be excavated tunnels with "build a tubeway here", so it must be done one tile at a time (wait for tunnel excavation, then mark tubeway, wait for that construction and next tunnel, repeat).
  
  With tunnels typically requiring futzing with the layers (though the improved layer navigation is appreciated), this is even more onerous than usual.
  
  Perhaps the most elegant way to accomplish this would be for the Ironteeth to have a "Tubeway Tunnel" construction option?

  Tubeways are great, but sometimes I want to be able to put them underground. Currently, using tunnels you can, but you have to build the Tubeways one tile at a time and waiting for them to build it as the beavers can only build one tile away from the end of the Tubeways.
  
  I think either being able to plan the Tubeways and the tunnel on the same tile or a Tubeways block which includes the tunnel as well so it can be built in one go would be great at bringing both things together

  I think it could be better if we could just queue the building along with tunnel
  
  Like a dirt block that we can just draw path or build things in planning mode, Tunnel should just allow us to queue for things that can build within it. And by itself it should be selectable in the same manner as common platform

  Can we get something that combines tunnel with tubeway, with a cost similar to both of them combined? If you're building an underground tubeway starting with a downward shaft (or need to put a vertical shaft in at any point), you have to essentially build everything after the shaft one segment at a time—lay down a long tunnel, wait for your workers to build to the end of the vertical shaft and blow up the first tunnel section. Then you lay down a single tubeway section, and wait for the tubeway section to be built, followed by the next tunnel section. Boom goes the tunnel, then you lay down another tubeway section and wait for more building.
  
  It would be nice to have something that combines the two functions (excavate the tunnel, then build the new shaft), so the building process goes much smoother.

  We need "Tubeway Tunnel".
  
  In the current version (U7), digging a tunnel and running a tubeway through it requires a tedious, time-consuming and repetitive process.
  
  I would like to see a "Tubeway Tunnel" added as a type of tunnel, which would automatically place a tubeway under scaffolding when materials are gathered and blasted. Or maybe just placing a Solid Tubeway in the first place would be good.
  
  The Tubeway Tunnel allows us to easily create underground passageways using tunnels and tubeways. It's exciting!

  Just want to echo that this would be a great QoL feature. Right now it's a serious faff to build a tunnel with tubeways in it, which is a shame.

  I wanted to build a tubeway that went partially under the mountain then went up to the station on the mountain in an L shape but there was no way to change altitude inside tunnel. It would be great to have my beavers fly underground then pop up throughout the map.

  Add "Advanced Tubeway Drill" which would allow tubeways to be built underground (in all directions) without the need to first dynamite/tunel and then place a Tubeway segment. I would suiggest that this has a prerequisite of both "Vertical Tubeway" and "Tunnel" before it can be researched.
  
  I find myself first drilling down to a desired level, e.g. the bottom layer, then map out a path using tunnel blocks and then one-by-one filling in the opened up holes with tubeways. This leads to tedious game-play where I have to go back multiple times per day to add another piece of tubeway as the tunnels get opened up (via the existing tubeway).
  
  I realize that it's possible to dig a "work shaft" next to the site and then run the tunnel first (having to continuously add pathway for the builders to reach the end of the tunnel, and then place the tubeway and then fill up the work shaft. This works well if one can plan the tubeway ahead of time but fixing these things later is tricky.

  Yes please, we need a combined tubeway/tunnel piece. so i don't need to constantly watch tunnel contruction to add new tubeway pieces. Tunnel construction is already automated, and above-ground tubeway construction is automated, we just need to add automated tubeway construction in tunnels

  I agree with the ability to do some sort of drill behaviour or just a tubeway tunnel would be great.
  Having an ability to have sealed exit so that a flooded tubeway tunnel can go above ground at a lower level than water and not flood it would be really handy.

  The Game should have option to plan your future buildings like you're building underground metro using tunels and tubes and option for automatic blowing the dynamite and starting construction of the tube. That would make the game much more fun and easier because you didn,t had to wait untill beavers built tunnel so you can place tube by hand.

  This is mainly a thing with the demolition aspect, but while playing iron teeth, I like to do my tubeways underground, so while I place my dynamite, it would be useful to be able to also add my tubeway or verticle tubeway into the same block, alternatively a new block which both demolishes the current ground and places either a standard or verticle tubeway, removing the need to constantly go underground view a add a singular piece of tubeway before they can complete the rest of the deconstruction.

  Please just make the mod 'more tunnels' part of the base game. I do not see any reason why new players or players that do not want to use mods should miss out on such a neat QOL thing.

  Two quality of life suggestions, so that I can give my irontooth colonies a better subway system:
  A tubeway tunnel: Tunnel, but it explodes into/leaves a build order for a tubeway. To make subway construction easier.
  A tubeway levee: A levee that also acts as a tubeway. To keep the subway from flooding. Also, beavers tubing through a damn is too cool to not exist.

  Hello, bump for this, a combined tunnel/tubeway building block is my number one desired new feature. having to constantly click down to level 2 to check tubeway and tunnel progress twice a day is very tiresome

  This is my top wishlist for Ironteeth. I love doing tubeways underground, but it's so tedious to do so. It takes a lot of time since we have to check for the open tunnels to place a tubeway one by one. Having a "tubeway tunnel" to add a vertical tubeway (since it's solid) in place of a platform would be golden. Or just let us "queue" the building when constructing tunnels or using dynamites in general.

  Can we please have a subway tunnel option, building it underground as it stands is so tedious and time intensive, unlike other building methods which are plan it out and watch it grow. Subways are build one piece at a time that require lots of input to move along.
