Use science as a fuel for sending automation signals.
Science doesn't have a good late game use once you've unlocked everything. Automation is free and infinite distance once you've unlocked it.
Solution: use science to send signals for Automation.

Pieter van der StarThe rates need to be tuned, but what if sensors are more expensive than memory and both are more expensive than relays, with switches being free (as it still requires manual interaction, but simplifies turning on/off groups of buildings).
Maybe this could stack with the range multiplication but that may be something for a game setting. Stack in hard mode, either/or in easy mode.
Don't know how to handle the webserver stuff in this. For me that could be free too as when someone puts effort into writing software to control the world the fun comes not just from the game and for streamers it is good for Timberborn exposure.
