Job rotation with unemployed beaver
Whenever there are unemployed beaver in the district, I wish that there would be a system that, every morning, there would be employed beaver leave their job and let the unemployed one will filling the job
So that it's like there would be rest day and average their work. For game mechanic it would allow the hard work beaver to go social, have fun, fulfill any of their need
We might consider prioritize the beaver that lack in fun and social to leave their job first in each day, like they not satisfied and want to go rest for a day for visiting and utilizing the satisfaction building in work hour
In conjunction with job attribute or stat mechanic, it would be also prioritize the beaver that fit for the job in each day

I also want to suggest that beavers with jobs should have higher priority for using social buildings at night, as it's the only time they get to use them. -

AntonThat's just what I was thinking about. And i wanted to suggest a special well-being bonus "weekend". If the beaver had a day without work it increases lifespan and productivity (working speed). One seventh is approx 14.3% so the productivity bonus should be more than 15% to make it worth having one day-off a week.

MsD4nnyHuntressso during a drought that lasts 4+ days they work 6hrs, as they consume less food and water when they arn't working +boosts social/fun. They will need it for when the drought is over.
after the drought has ended 20hr days for 3days to replenish supplys.
then 2hr day for 2days. This is just enough time to fill water tanks but boots all their needs.
then back to the normal 16hr day.
If needed when the 2-3day drought warning occurs bump up their hours to 20 to finish harvesting. just make sure to drop it again when the drought starts.

LogCarrrierIt did help when I gave everyone a "saturday" once, the water towers ran out though hah. There is no way other than micro management supreme to get the beavers to use all the boosting amenities. Rotational (or even just randomly) assigning beavers to job pools every day would make more sense, rationally.

Will MergedUnemployment could be a feature like beaver time off where they look after their needs such as spirituality and social life. Each day the unemployed beavers could rotate into new jobs and relieve workers.

Daniel MergedOr you can set for them shifts, so they can rotate even during a day. And then you can even set 24 hours working time. Maybe just for some selected buildings? Like a water pump?
