Alternative mechanical water pump - Archimedes screw, bucket belt, etc
Power consuming water elevator. Buckets on a track move water up from its bottom end and pour out the top. This would allow the ability to move water up to the top of a hill and have it cascade down to new areas, and not require beavers to constantly feed dumpers which is more labor intensive.
