Cotton, flowers crop for Dyes and colored districts.
I would like to have something that makes a district unique -
option to set a color for a district when creating a district
New crops - Cotton and flowers (flowers same color as district)
New building - Dye work area (flowers in dye out) dye same color as district
New building - cotton factory - fabrics ( cotton in fabric out)
Cloth mill - coloured fabric ( dye+fabric in colored cloth out) as color as district
New decoration - Coloured banners (colored cloth) small and large flags (japanese style)
New Beaver hat or sash to match the workshop Dye color.

Would be cool to add color to your buildings. You could grow crops for certain dyes, create a processing building for creating dyes, and have a painters building. Also, side note, change grilled potatoes to baked potatoes. One last thing, growing rice and bamboo as an option. -

wesalso if you had a cloth mill, you could then have sails for boats or to make hot air balloons/airships for transportation :)

Goldenkaaos MergedI would love to make my settlements more colorful! Some ideas:
-Wild flowers (multicolor): plant with forester/harvest with lumberjack (so the cutting area can be defined). Flowers can also spawn naturally. See attachment for inspiration.
-Ability to processes flowers to make paint/dye.
-Color menu: select a color and click on a paintable object (TBD) to apply paint. Paint is consumed upon application by builders.
Dye could be useful if cloth is ever implemented.
Extra idea:
-Honey: harvest from beehouses with gatherer or apiary. Nearby flowers boost output.
-Recipes: honey cakes (bakery - honey+wheat flour); glazed carrots (grill - honey+carrots) -
