[1.0.11] valve automation active parameter unclear
currently, at first glance, it's unclear that there are two conditions.
putting a grey filter over the inactive condition and/or expanding the highlight from "on" and "off" to the entire element would be more obvious

ah... unlike your stove, "off" is signal state 0, not actually off. there's times where you actually want it to open then.
on the other hand, signal state 0 could just actually be fully closed always, that would also be an option to simplify things -

HartI cannot upvote this hard enough.
That it has flow rates for OFF (assumed to be zero) and ON is the big problem. It could also be addressed as a Clarity-of-language problem. Changing the OFF text to instead read ALWAYS would make the behavior Significantly more in line with expected functionality.
I know the pilot light on my waterheater will always be leaking out gas, that is an edge case and expected behavior.
If I turn my kitchen stove's burner to "Off" Would you expect it to be leaking out gas? I sure wouldn't, it's OFF.
No means NO, and off means OFF, give the valves some bodily autonomy 'eh?
